The official date has been set for Pat Sajak‘s final turn on “Wheel of Fortune.” The longtime host will bid farewell with his last appearance on June 7, according to Deadline. The episode, which has already been filmed, will also serve as the season 41 finale of the game show.

I have not read Juliet McDaniel's 2018 novel "Mr. and Mrs. American Pie," which is nominally the basis of a new miniseries, "Palm Royale," but it's clear from the publisher's synopsis that it's a completely different story — though one that someone decided could be rebuilt into diverting, even brilliant television.
